Func(X) [“fuhngk – eks”] perform, write & record in the UK and France. It’s an anonymous group, including programmers, producers, session & classical musicians. We just didn’t want to be limited by what we’ve done before.
We believe art should be anonymous.
Func(X) explores a repeatable, looping process which is applied to different subjects; “func” is the function we execute on “X”, the subject.
This applies at all levels of what we do; passing arguments, motifs, loops, samples and lyrics from album to album, song to song, track to track, clip to clip.
“everything_is_code” is a 3 EP/ 3 album project exploring technology, hypernormalisation, dehumanisation, quantum computing, strange loops and ultimately hope.
